Heart to Home | Como Zoo Outing

We had a wonderful resident outing (Mendota Manor) today at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.  The weather was a perfect 10 and the animals were out and about giving us a fun and educational showing.  Here are some of our favorite photos from the outing...

A view of the exterior of the Conservatory.

Walking into the zoo!  There were busloads of school kids... Which made for excellent people watching.

The first stop, the new primate display!

Here we came upon a cute sloth posing for it's up close photo.

The giraffes were equally fun to watch!

The lions were awake and prowling their enclosure.  The king of the jungle was soaking up sunshine :)

Here the seals were enjoying a dip in the pool...

Residents and staff in the distance...

The polar bears (bottom - below sign) were enjoying a snack... Carrots!

Kayla and a resident on the other side of the Puffins enclosure.

The seals were receiving a training session!

This is a photo one of the residents took... Looks like we are lurking in the hot jungle!

The fish were very large and put on a fun display...

A quick stop to the gift shop, followed by the breathtaking beauty of the Conservatory.

The smiles are priceless :)
