Heart to Home | Activities for a Snowy April

Snow in April has been a bit of a sad sight around Minnesota this spring.  Despite the lackluster weather outside, we tried to make the most of a fun Friday inside!  Rachel, our student from Le Cordon Bleu culinary program made some wonderful homemade dishes for everyone to enjoy.  We also watched cardinals visit our bird feeder in the backyard and enjoyed some fun 1:1 reminiscing / visiting time.  One of our residents was an avid photographer so we had some fun with a camera trying to capture some of the nature in the backyard.  We hope you had as much fun as we did on this snowy Friday!

1:1 visiting time... Always a great way to pass the day.

Spot the red speck in the middle of the pines?  That's one of our visiting cardinals at Heart to Home.  A beautiful sight in a snowy backdrop.

Rachel, our wonderful culinary student prepping some homemade potato salad.  Yum!
