We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration at Heart to Home these past two weeks.  We celebrated the New Year with champagne and a resident party and enjoyed opening our Christmas gifts on Christmas morning...  Such a treat!

Heart to Home | Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

In Minnesota, snow is an inevitable part of the winter season... So why not embrace it! To spice things up for the holidays at Heart to Home we've begun our annual process of decorating, enjoying lively holiday musical performances, spending time with family / friends, cuddling up with our favorite pets and enjoying that warm cup of hot chocolate on those chilly winter days. Here are a few random photos form the past week at Heart to Home. A few visits from Charlie and his jingle bell (a sweet gift from one of the residents of Mendota Manor), a visit form Bailey (Nick's dog) and the half-finished Christmas tree... Heart to Home | Happy Halloween!

We had a sneaky bananimal (banana / animal - Lily) come for a cuddly visit to Heart to Home!  Lily is always a favorite visitor at Heart to Home.  She is small enough for the residents to cuddle up and loves to perform for treats!  We also had some trick-or-treating visitors and some great costumes (way to go staff and residents at Mendakota Manor!) that we all enjoyed.

What's a better way to spend a warm fall day in Minnesota than on a scenic ride along the Mississippi River in a Jeep?!  A special thank you to Doug for volunteering his time and vehicle so that we could get out on a scenic ride with the wind blowing threw our hair...
