We've had a bumper crop of fresh veggies at Heart to Home this year.  Here are some of our tasty tomatoes from the gardens at Mendakota Manor.

Heart to Home | Minnesota Zoo Outing

The residents of Mendota Manor and Mendakota Manor had a wonderful Minnesota Zoo outing this week.  We enjoyed all of the fun animals and people watching.  The www.MinnesotaZoo.org is a wonderful summer-time tradition at Heart to Home!

Heart to Home | Flower Arranging and Veggies

Our veggie gardens are finally coming in at Heart to Home!  We look forward to incorporating these tasty garden treats into our menu at the care homes.  With this great stretch of weather we have also been able to stay active outside arranging flowers to use around the houses.

Heart to Home | Roger's Lake Outing Part 2

What a great way to finish out the week.  On Friday we took the residents from Mendakota Manor on a nice outing to Roger's Lake Park in Mendota Heights.  We enjoyed some fishing and a light picnic under the gazebo.  The weather was a bit cool and windy, but it didn't deter us from having a good time.  We even had the opportunity to enjoy the company of a few great grand kids!  The smiles are priceless...

Had a wonderful time at Roger's Lake Park for a resident outing today! We enjoyed the sunshine, fishing and a snack under the gazebo.  Truly a beautiful Minnesota summer day...
