We had some fun with Art therapy today. We collected leafs from the yard, laminated them and created fun art projects while reminiscing about fall / holidays / weather and fond memories.  Great work to the Heart to Home staff for their creative resident engagement :)

Here are a few pictures from Tori's Precious Pets when they came to see us at Mendota Manor.  It was so much fun learning about the animals, holding them, petting them and feeding them.  Animals have that secret ability to calm the nerves and make everyone feel better :)

Heart to Home | Halloween Party!

Fun times at Heart to Home's Halloween Party!  We baked pumpkin seeds, painted pictures (Halloween themed) enjoyed tasty treats, carved pumpkins, had a visit from Lily (dog) in full costume and even handed out a few treats to the neighborhood kids!  Hope you had as much fun as we did...

The residents enjoyed decorating some fun Halloween cookies this afternoon.  It's always fun to engage in activities that remind us and help us feel at home...  Food prep, laundry, household chores, family style meals, etc...  Home sweet home!
