Heart to Home | Lunch Outing & Baking!

We had a fun time out to lunch with residents from Mendakota Manor!  It is always so nice to get out into the community to enjoy connecting with old (and new) friends.

Here we are hard at work making some goodies in the kitchen with the help of Misty, one of our wonderful Registered Nurses!

Heart to Home | New Care Home

Tomorrow we will begin removing the existing fire damaged home at 595 Highway 110, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 and starting construction on Heart to Home's new residential care home!!

Below are some photos of the lot, the existing home (which was condemned due to a fire) and a rendition of the new residential care home...

The new home will feature 6 private suites, beautiful common areas, lush gardens, and sweeping views.

 

Beautiful sprawling 3/4 acre yard complete with mature trees and views of the Dodge Nature Center.

Workers are sealing the abandoned well on the property in the above photo.

Heart to Home | Is spring here?!

Finally spring-like weather is back in Minnesota!  We have been soaking up every drop of sunshine at Heart to Home.  The patios have been in full swing at both houses and we are thrilled with this early weather respite.

Thank you so much to the St Augustana Lutheran Church's Choir for coming to share the gift of music with the residents at Mendakota Manor.  Your performance was beautiful and very much appreciated!

Heart to Home | New Care Home Coming Fall 2015!

Heart to Home is thrilled to announce that we will begin construction this spring on a new state-of-the-art residential care home in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.  The home will be located at 595 Highway 110, Mendota Heights MN 55118.  It is connected to walking trails that connect Henry Sibley High School and The Village Mendota Heights.  The existing fire-damaged home will be removed and the new home will be built on the .76 acre lot.  The lot features beautiful mature trees and views of Friendly Marsh Park.  Follow along on our blog www.HeartToHomeBlog.com as we bring you along on a photo journey from tear-down to opening.  Contact Josh with questions! 651-454-5250.

We've had some fun times at Heart to Home this month.  We worked on Valentine's projects, played bingo with our visiting school kids and enjoyed some fun musical guests.
